What with this inflation, and today being overturn-the-existing-basis-of-society day, it seemed this quote would be most appropriate:

Poli Sci 101...Americans always vote their pocketbooks first and their conscience second..."The economy, stupid" James Carville in 1992. Will be interesting to see if this axiom holds true after today.
